Eight songs featuring a shifting combination of instruments-as-voices, spanning a range of moods and dynamics, from the rising anticipation of Axis of Exes to the yearning interplay of Ribbon Twist. In between, the songs deliver head-nodding psych grooves on Wired Weird, a restrained mathy tension on Illogical Philosophy, and unexpected transitions on Thank You, Goodnight (from arena stomp to blurry noise drone to interlocking primal rhythms).

I have been really taken by this entire album. There is not one bad song here. The combination of the Shoegaze guitar riffs and the strong melodic vocals are perfect. Zachary can sing! I havent added a favourite song because there are too many good ones to choose from but i highly recommend these three inparticular. The sand, Mile Rocks, Golden Cross. Can't wait for the next album already! Anarch
